The Redrawing Collective 2005-ongoing
Ben. Harper, String Quartet No. 2 (Canon in Beta), 2008, install detail at Project Space/Spare Room, Melbourne.
The Redrawing Collective grew from a series of conversations around ideas of reconceptualising existing artworks/practices and (re)deploying these as interventions into the historicising concept of "the contemporary" in current practice.
These conversations developed into a series of exhibition and publishing projects: Redrawing, Project Space/Spare Room, Melbourne & CAST, Hobart, 2008, and Collected Collaborations, MUMA (Monash University Museum of Art), Melbourne 2011 & Cross Art Projects, Sydney (forthcoming 2012); Redrawing Times (edition of 300) (ABpress: Melbourne 2011) and Redrawing the book (edition of 25) (ABpress: Melbourne 2011).
The collective comprises, variously, Bronwyn Clark-Coolee, Ben. Harper, Fiona Macdonald, Alex Martinis Roe, Thérèse Mastroiacovo, Spiros Panigirakis.
